This style is an approach to street effective self-defense that blends techniques from across the Martial Arts spectrum to help the student adapt his or her defense to different situations. We do not believe in a "one size fits all" mentality. The primary focus of the art is Karate-like, with strong influences from Judo and Jiu-Jitsu. Other styles such as Ninjitsu, Aikido, Kung Fu, and Kempo are used in our "kick, strike, throw, submit" style of self-defense. Judo is a key ingredient, dealing with falls, rolls (forward and backwards), and throws. Jiu-Jitsu's strong influence deals mainly with what happens after a fight goes to the ground. It is a known fact that at least 80% of all fights end up on the ground. Aam-Ka Jiu-Jitsu is a well rounded style created for offense or defense. It teaches from stand-up to take-down, fighting on the ground, and how to use and defend against weapons.
